A record crowd of 67,143 attended World Dairy Expo this year. The attendance was the largest crowd in the last five years. Overall attendance for the show was up 2.4 percent from 2006. More than 2,480 cattle in seven breeds were exhibited during World Dairy Expo 2007. Show cattle numbers were also up 6.5 percent from the year previous. World Dairy Expo Marketing Manager Lisa Behnke says the most recent show was the first in many years to have simultaneous record attendance by domestic visitors, international visitors and show cattle.
