Story by Jeff Stoker & photos by Ray Merritt

Despite mixed weather and a troubled economy, farmers from around the Northeast flocked to Syracuse, New York, last month for the 24th annual New York Farm Show.

The event, which spanned three days, February 26-28, featured more than 425 commercial exhibits. Showgoers had the chance to see new technology and get acquainted with the best that farming has to offer.

New items of interest to the dairy industry included Lely’s Juno feed pusher and Discovery mobile barn cleaner, Kuhn’s new vertical mixers, Oxbo’s folding hay merger and Ag-Bag’s improved silage bagger.
